Another record year for The Barcode Warehouse as sales top £50M

  • 20%+ organic revenue growth
  • Enterprise sales, label media & e-commerce achieve stand out growth
  • Confirms position as No.1 UK partner for the market’s top three vendors

We are pleased to announced record-breaking results for 2016/17. We saw overall sales in excess of £50M and YOY growth exceed 20%, confirming our position as the No 1 partner by revenue for the market’s leading vendors.

Although enterprise sales, label media & e-commerce saw the biggest growth, all business areas including managed services, mobile device technologies, RFID systems and barcode printer systems performed strongly, our company’s innovative solutions providing significant competitive advantage. 

These results come on the back of recent industry recognition at the Honeywell Safety & Productivity Solutions UK & Ireland Partner Conference where we were awarded Partner of the Year, Printer Partner of the Year and Scanner Partner of the Year.

Kevan Mutton, Managing Director, said: “We’re extremely pleased with the results achieved during the last 12 months as one of our key aims was to establish us as a solid £50M business. To achieve this in the first year of our plan is excellent and we now need to consolidate sales whilst further improving profitability. We made significant investments last year in our CRM, e-commerce systems and IT infrastructure, combined with increasing headcount in sales and marketing. These are already paying off and will underpin our plans for future growth. Our team of over 230 dedicated employees continue to drive the success of our business and deliver the excellent customer service that our reputation is based upon.
